That’s the new catch-phrase for Enterprize Canada 2009. I used to run Enterprize 2007, and back then we hastily came up with: Driving Entrepreneurship. Needless to say, I like the new catch-phrase more.

If you haven’t heard of Enterprize, its one of the largest student entrepreneurship conferences and business plan competitions in the country. It’s put on by a dedicated group of students right here in Vancouver at UBC’s Sauder School of Business. A three-day, 450 student conference and business plan competition is run by a group of volunteer university students may be hard to believe, but that’s the way its been since the inception of this fantastic program several years ago. This year, the event will be held from February 6-8 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and will feature speaker sessions, workshops and networking opportunities that would be valuable to any college or university student looking to start their business in the near future.

That said, when the team contacted me about the deadline drawing near for student registration and business plan competition submissions - I wanted to make sure we got some Enterprize promo materials up on the blog before it was too late.
