I’m really excited to tell you about our upcoming event on March 11th! We’ve spent a good chunk of January and February looking at what we need to deliver in 2009, re-connecting with some of our biggest supporters and making valuable new ones. Our next social event will incorporate a lot of the things we’ve learned since the New Year (I’ll fill you in on that a bit more over the coming weeks) – but for now we’re just interested in touching base again. So here’s the details on our next event:
We’re calling the event Stimulus, as Rizwan Kheraj will speak on what young entrepreneurs can do to stimulate their financial position in a recession economy and get back to the basics in finding the resources, people and answers they need to succeed.
We’ve changed venue this time to SoCial at Le Magasin on 322 Water Street. The event will take place on March 11th 2009 starting at 6PM. Tickets are only $6 and include refreshments throughout the evening (so arrive early). You can expect some great company including early stage entrepreneurs, mentors, professionals, technology leaders and a contingent of aspiring student entrepreneurs for good measure. It will be an excellent evening of networking and inspiration at a warm and inviting venue to kick off the Momenutm series for the coming year. The event is presented by our Technology Champion Supporter, the BC Innovation Council.
