I’m pleased to announce that we hit an important milestone this weekend – we’ve officially sold 100 tickets to our first event of 2009. If you haven’t done so yet, pick up your ticket to our event being held on March 11th at SoCial (322 Water Street) starting at 6PM. Expect a fun, casual night of networking with aspiring young entrepreneurs, angel investors, technology leaders, professionals and mentors. Start-up veteran Rizwan Kheraj, from NRC-IRAP, will be offering up ideas on stimulating your start-up’s finances in a downturn economy. It’s sure to be an invigorating night of networking and knowledge-sharing in a relaxed, familiar environment. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, register here. You can pay at the door but all registrations are through EventBrite.

Over the next couple of days, the team will be taking a lot of the feedback we’ve received from our supporters and stakeholders and revising our format for a social mixer. We think you’ll appreciate the simpler format and the focus on what really matters to the people who come to VEF Momentum events: connecting young and aspiring entrepreneurs with answers to their questions.

More on this to come – but as of writing this post we’ve got 75 tickets left that are going faster than we anticipated. Be sure to bring a friend!
