Lightning Pitch Application

The VEF kicks off each event with a series of 'Lightning Pitches', from entrepreneurs leading early-stage companies, high potential innovators and non-profit organizations supporting entrepreneurs. Up to five presenters are given 100 seconds to promote their venture, funding initiative or collaboration goals. Priority will be given to early-stage companies seeking funding.

All lightning pitch applications will be reviewed by presenting sponsor; The Vancouver Economic Commission, along with VEF Board member and Vanedge Capital Principal Amy Rae.

The deadline for applications is at noon, on Monday the week prior to each event date. Successful applicants will be notified by Tuesday*.  Each successful applicant will be provided with the opportunity to pitch to Amy Rae that week to receive valuable, supportive and constructive feedback on your pitch.  All pitchers are given pre and post event publicity through VEF's social media channels along with the use of a table in the lobby of the event location, enabling plenty of opportunities to engage with event attendees. 

 

* Successful applicants are required to pay for event entrance ($55).
