Mission & HISTORY

Our mission is to unify and strengthen our local ecosystem by bringing investors, entrepreneurs and partners together in a fun, relevant and vibrant monthly forum designed to stimulate ideas, conversations and connections.

Established in 1988, the Vancouver Entrepreneurs Forum Society (VEF) is the premier networking forum for technology entrepreneurs in Greater Vancouver.

We strive to create and catalyze collaborations, supporting technology entrepreneurs with the tools and mentorship they need to successfully launch and grow their enterprise.

VEF seeks to expand the involvement of academic supporters and industrial partners at its events, so that the knowledge and innovation we cultivate in our post-secondary communities can pollinate industry and further propel British Columbia's technology forward.

OUR PURPOSE

VEF events and membership showcase the diversity of Vancouver’s tech sector. We believe diversity is the cornerstone of a vibrant and inclusive community. In our event planning endeavours, we strive to ensure that our programs and activities reflect the diversity of our community. We actively seek out and engage with individuals and organizations representing various backgrounds and perspectives.

We offer opportunities for entrepreneurs to showcase their ventures from the company pitching opportunity, community announcement and panel discussion in the form of fireside chat.  We actively seek feedback and input from our community members to create events that resonate with the community, reflecting their interests and aspirations.
